The New Regime!

Having hit my mid 20’s (the grand old age of 25) I decided it was about time I left my student days behind and started living like an ‘adult’ – I also realised to help with the dodgy knees, I need to lose some weight. So here comes the new regime!

Up at 7.30 for a shower and breakfast (of the porridge variety)

Make lunch, go to work, eat salad, come home, house work, decent tea, bed early!

Rock and F-in Roll Baby Yeah!

So it lasted well for a week, then I got hit with a tummy bug, I’m now back on the regime and it seems to be paying off. I’m knackered all the time, hungry and miserable, but I do seem to have lost a pound or two. (can you sense the sarcasm)

I have to say, breaking a life long habit of sleeping in and getting ready for work in under 5 minutes is hard (My record is 3 mins from getting out of bed to getting in the car) – It’s about time I grew up though… NOT!

I need new swimmers!

I started visiting the gym again, trying to ease myself back into exercise and clever me am still wearing by swimmers from when I was fatter, so they fall down! doh. I do own a bikini, but you have no hope of me wearing that in the gym. Plus the chlorine ruins my hair, so I am in need of new swimming gear. If any one can assist in my plight, please get in touch!



Bad Knee = No Gym = Grumpy Hannah

Cleverly last week at some point I did my knee’s in (the left took the brunt), then an instense Step class followed by Body Jam meant utter agony all weekend. It’s Wednesday night now and it’s still throbbing. I’m fuming because I wanted to really push my gym going for the next few weeks before I give my presentation at A4U Expo Europe. Oh well. I should invest in a sexy knee support or two – HOT!

It’s been making me seriously grumpy, a) because it hurts, i can barely walk sometimes and driving is *interesting* (forget clutch control) b) the gym costs a fecking fortune c) it’s delaying my skinnying process. My brain says one thing but my knackerdy old body says another. grrr

Again, haven’t really given it my all this week, so I’m not expecting miracles!

These past few weeks I have slacked at the gym, so the results are not moving as quickly as I want them too… but here goes. Weeks 2 and 3 together!
