Some may say that not being employed by Western Power and certainly not falling into the category of one of their "sexy engineers" that I may not be qualified on this subject. However I feel that I should point out that if the power goes off then it would be advisable to switch off the freezer/fridge, boiler etc as a sudden surge of power could cause them to blow causing really bad things to happen.
